Honestly guys, my opinion is to put your talents into an aircraft model that needs the help. Build a full loaded 787, or 747-8. If you pooled your ideas in with XPFW, the combined 757 would be fantastic, no need to have two great models, especially since their is going to be free.

Differentiation is the key, build an amazing 787 with all the bells and whistles, that will be something worth paying for.

Just my 2¢

We all appreciate the comments and support, especially after some of the recent backlash in the community in regards to our current direction. Happy developers are good developers :D

As for the current status of things...we're working on some small projects at the moment, proof of concept experiments trying to figure out the best ways to achieve tricky things that we want to do on the 757...and of course we'll share the wealth when the experimentation is over ;) Always looking to push the envelope just to the edge and we know that you appreciate it too :D

Once again, thanks for the morale booster everyone...its been a taxing past few weeks. Glad that they're over :P

Cheers

I've enjoyed XPFW's 757, but cannot wait until your release. Love your triple 7's. Wondering: ever consider going gung-ho and releasing a plane with all systems modelled like Stratman's 737's? That's got to be a lot of work, I know. But, man is it worth it. I know a lot of people don't like the learning curve on Stratman's planes, but I say, the more realism, the better. Hey, It's X-plane! Push the envelope!
Thanks for all your work guys. I'm glad you're around.

I'm sure your work will be excellent and definitely worth the price tag, I shall definitely be buying it when it arrives. The only reason I mentioned this issue on the other sites was due to the fact that as yet, there is no way to fly in a heavy, transatlantic -wise with a 3d pit, something of more and more importance in the eye candy factor. There are some excellent heavies, 744, 777 but none with 3d pits, and I just can't wait till the day comes that I can fly long haul with a nice 3d cockpit. I look forward to both your projects, I will enjoy them both! What sort of time envelope are we looking at for the A340?

I for one would be interested in your 757-200F variant with UPS livery. I'm sure it will be phenomenal. Forge ahead!

XPW 757 is excellent but I wait a lot yours. I'm waiting nearly 7 years for a -300 version and you'll do it!!! Great!.

Do you know it you'll have this aircraft done before...mmm...before october (for example). Maybe later to be sure everything is ok?
