welcom2knkos95, we determined that as a small development group, that we needed to focus on one project at a time. If we did all three at once, we'd never get anything done at all. The 777 was the furthest along when we made the decision and we're planning on sticking with it solely until we're finished. Fear not though, the 757 and A320 aren't forgotten. We'll get to them as quickly as we can.

Thanks for the support everyone!

If you can please make a post for the 757's current progress( not trying to be pushy)? I haven't seen any mention of the 757 and im beginning to wonder has become of it is all.

sgabriel, you have a talent for understatments : ), Dhruv, thank you for offering smleingang such a diplomatic and civil response.
one only has to venture ankle deep into 3-D design world to appreciate how vastly time consuming it can be, furthermore when your current version of the simulator is frought with such conditions as 9.21 is, I believe that takes wind out of developers sails as well. I commend everyone involved with this project for taking flight simulation to such a high art form. those gears sure look accurate. I'm sure even the person who designed them on a computer for the jet originally would give this effort great kudos.

Hold to those high standards. It's worth it! Glad to hear, too, that you're aiming beyond 9.21, which remains hugely problematic.

Keep up the great work, and thanks.

smleingang,

I understand your frustrations, and I agree that things have been a bit stagnant. That being said, we're first and foremost dedicated to getting the 777 finished and out. Unfortunately, 9.21 in our eyes is a version of the sim for which we cannot and will not release. We're waiting for a minimum of 9.30 with its new jet engine model to get the plane performing properly.

Furthermore, the A320 and 757 are by no means forgotten. The 320, being a cooperative effort, has to be properly coordinated with our colleagues at XPFW, and lately we have not had the time we would like to concentrate on it. We made a prioritizing decision to complete the 777 based on the fact that out of all our projects, it was the closest to completion. I suspect that you'll see A320 development pick up speed very quickly once we're done with the 777.

Not disagreeing with your sentiments in anyway; just pointing out that there's only so much a team of 3 can manage with the sometimes-impossibly high standards to which we hold our work.

Wow!!!...Another fantastic job guys but is this gonna be another "A Little Taste of What's to Come"? and what about "Sidesticks and Euros"?...will we ever see it come to fruition...I know great work takes time but it seems impossible to keep up with advances with XP nowadays...don't mean to gripe but this hasn't been the most active XP site...my expectations of this site were tremendous as your work history is astounding but looking through the archives, is seems that the site itself is barely treading water...I wish you all the best of luck!!!
Let's get this one out there this time!

Fantastic work guys...it gives me great pleasure to see the bar being raised in X-Plane. It seems that X-Plane 9 has opened a lot of doors for developers - it's great to see them being used to a great extend. :)

All the best!
